Hands on
It is rightly said that design is so simple, that’s why it is so complicated. For as long as I can remember, drawing has been my getaway. There have been times when my mother had to take away my paints so that she could get me to study.
As I grew older, this interest developed into my career goal of becoming a designer - one who possesses not only creativity but also the will to work and mold oneself as the circumstances demand. In today’s times, a designer holds an important place in the working of the ‘system’. I not only want to be a designer but also wish to be able to shape the thinking of the masses through my ideas and imagination.
I like to channel my vision onto paper through doodling and sketching, which are my usual dreamy escapes from mundane life. I am fond of creating art and craft, turning a mess into something pleasing to the eye, and have represented my school at various contests regarding the same.
My greatest source of inspiration lies in the big, wide world that surrounds us, and this plays the most crucial role in my self-portrait. It consists of diverse habitats; the forests, the mountains, the sea, space.
It gives me immense pride in using my art as a medium to be thankful for the gift of nature. Our world is full of such beautiful things that one should cherish, just like that, I want my work to be cherished. I can see the whole world through my eyes and I aspire for the whole world to see my work and be inspired to do something great, no matter how small and insignificant it might seem.
